November is National Family Caregivers Month
Becoming a caregiver to a loved one is an extremely difficult job to take on. There are more than 40 million people in the United States who serve as unpaid caregivers. National Family Caregivers Month is a whole month dedicated to the hardworking caregivers of America. It is not only a time to honor these caregivers, but to spread awareness about caregiving issues, educate local communities, and significantly increase support for caregivers. It is vital to celebrate the efforts of caregivers across the country by being able to recognize their hard work of feeding, bathing, shopping, cleaning, and, most importantly, comforting the millions of elderly people who need daily assistance.
